Family Life Group
The St Mary’s Family Life Group (FLG) aims to reach out to families and individuals in need through a four-step approach that comprises of home visitation (Family Prayer Apostolate), a one-stop bureau (Family Life Desk), programmes (such as talks, workshops, seminars family camps in collaboration with other church ministries) and formation of support groups. It also shares in the vision of the Church in assisting in the formation of Small Christian Communities (SCCs).
Formed on 15 June 2004, the FLG celebrated its first Family Life Eucharistic Gathering in conjunction with the Nativity of Our Lady on 5 September 2004. With a core group largely made up of Legion of Mary members who collaborate with representatives from the various parish ministries and ethnic communities, the group now celebrates two Family Life Eucharistic Gatherings each year on the Feast of the Sacred Heart (June) and Birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Sept) along with the Consecration of Families with regular guests from the Bt Batok Aged Home and the Red Cross.
Currently, the FLG has the following support groups.
Parents' Support Group (PSG)
The Parents’ Support Group (PSG) aims to help parents strengthen and encourage one another to persevere in their struggles towards maintaining good family relationships. It organises parenting talks and activities for teens in collaboration with the youth ministries and catechetics as well as Family Movie Nite with St Francis Kids Club.
The PSG meets every 4th Sunday of the month at 4pm in St Clare Centre Basement 2.

Seniors' Support Group (SSG)
The objective of the Seniors’ Support Group (SSG) is to promote a purposeful, productive, healthy and happy lifestyle (P2H2) among senior parishioners through regular outings, Pilates sessions, fellowship and tea gatherings, bible sharing sessions and home visits. The group also collaborates with other ministries in their outreach and helps senior parishioners participate fully in the life of the church.
The SSG meets twice a month every 1st and 3rd Thursday in St Clare Centre Basement 3.

St Peregrine's Cancer Support Group
St Peregrine’s Cancer Support Group provides support for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers through prayers, talks and home and hospital visits. Most of the group members are cancer survivors who, having experienced God’s touch in their trauma, have helped not only to sustain themselves but many others who suffer silently and patiently welcoming whatever assistance rendered.
