Christian Meditation

Christian Meditation community at St Mary's was started in May 2005 to share the practice of Christian Meditation as taught by the late Dom John Main OSB with the parishioners of St Mary's.

Christian Meditation was formally introduced to Singapore in 1988, although its roots date back to the 4th century AD. More about Christian Meditation can be found on www.wccm.org. There are presently about 30 Christian Meditation groups that meet in different parishes in Singapore throughout the week. The two Christian Meditation groups in St Mary’s: meet to meditate at 8 pm every Monday and 12:30 pm every Thursday (except public holidays and days of obligation) in the Adoration Chapel fronting the Piazza.
